Discover the worlds most Iconic white wine - Riesling as we take a tour through the wine route of the Rhine Valley. This is where the noble Riesling of the Rheingau meet the 1000 rolling hills of Rheinhessen. And don't stress... most wines will be DRY

Along the way, we will stop at award-winning, historically significant and high-quality German vineyards. This is where the Romans planted their wines and the Cistercian monks perfected it.

There will be great examples along the way of how German wine traditions have been reshaped into world class wines of grape value! You will have many opportunities to swirl, sniff and slurp German Sparkling wine, Riesling and other top varieties guided by the makers. With all those tastings we will need to stay balanced with a stop to try delicious food specialties.

Tour Highlights:

  • Hotel pick up and drop off Frankfurt or Mainz area. Tours start around 10:15 based on first wine tasting
  • 3 wine tastings - tasting a variety of 8+ wines per tasting
  • Cellar tour (when available due to wine work)
  • Local lunch with wine
  • Water and snacks along the way
  • All tasting fees included   

Tour dates are flexible, please get in contact to let us know your preferred times and any wine requests.

Also I believe wine is best shared with friends and more the merrier! Open wines & open minds! It can be during the busier travel times that I have to manage many thirsty requests of wine lovers coming to Germany. I always keep my groups small (max 7 - usually its just another wine-loving couple) and tours always personal taking into account your wine wishes.
