Taste a little bit of everything in Verona
In this tour wine lovers will taste 3 different DOC of Veneto Region: Lessini Durello, Soave and Valpolicella.
We'll start at 10 AM from Terrossa (Monteforte d'Alpone) one of the main area of production of Lessini Durello sparkling wines. Durella is indigenous white grape, that grows up on volcanic hills in Monti Lessini area. This kind of grape is famous for it's high acidity, and this makes it perfect for both charmat and champenoise methods of production. This wine is producted by only 24 wineries in the old. One of the smallest and curious DOC ever. If you love sparkling wines these definetely worth it!
In the first winery we'll taste different kind of Durello, from charmat to traditional method and visit vineyards.
Following lunch and visit of Soave town.
The second winery will be Corte Mainente. Here we'll taste 5 different Soave and visit vineyards with a spectacular view on Soave castle.
The third winery is Corte Canella, producer of Valpolicella, in Illasi (Verona). They produce 3 Valpolicella and Amarone.
Costs:
- Durello - to define
- Corte Mainente - 15€ per person
- Corte Canella - 30€ per person (included food pairings of cured meat and cheeses)
If the group is maximum of 4 people the transport is included!
