Wind and Food to Match

This sensorial experience is devoted to enjoy the most famous Andalusian gourmet treasures, such as olive oil, food and wines! Starting in the town of Montilla (roughly 1h 20 min from Málaga) we visit a family run Olive Oil Mill, Almazara, take a tour of the olive oil production and the house museum followed by a tasting of 3 EV olive oils of local varieties.

We continue to a renowned winery driving through fields of olive trees, vines and the typical albariza soil.

Among other things, I'm an Official Educator for the Montilla-Moriles wines and I can tell you without hesitation that these could be the best gourmet wines in the world, since they perfectly match with all kind of food, including asian and fusion cuisine. They definetely enhance the wine and food pairing experience.

We visit the winery with its solera and criadera system either in biological or oxidative ageing, giving birth to a vast array of wine styles, the driest and the sweetest of the world, such as Fino, Amontillado, Palo Cortado, Oloroso and the traditional PX.
