A Winery Tour in Chianti Classico
We will be spending a day in the Chianti Classico area visiting two smaller and one slightly larger wineries, that very well symbolize the essence of the Black Rooster. In this way, you will get a glimpse into different realities of Chianti Classico wine production. Sangiovese will be the star grape here, followed by other mainly native grape varieties.
It will be a deep dive into Tuscan winemaking and its history while we walk through vineyards, wine cellars, and get a guided tasting at the tasting rooms. At one of wineries, we will taste the wines under a pergola with a breathtaking view on the Chianti landscape and a Medieval hamlet.
The day will include a lunch in Tuscan style at one of the wineries.
9.30: pick up
10.30: visit to the first winery
12.30: visit to the second winery and light lunch
15.00: visit to the third winery
16.30: return with arrival at 17.30 at the pick-up point.
The schedule can undergo some smaller modifications.
