Amazing experience at this winery. Giovan was a welcoming and informative host relaying the history of how he started it virtually from scratch. We then went on to taste some wines with some delicious food. He also had a very cute dog! Highly recommend and the wines were delicious and reasonable to purchase. The sunset when we left was also incredible!

Worthy of Tuscany A bit troublesome to find, but once there the view was beyond scenic and Giovan - the owner - brilliant company. A short walk through of the history and ecology of the winery and then on to the tasting. And the wine was/is outstanding. And fairly prized. All in all a place I’ll look back on as a successful excursion that I’ll revisit next time I’m in the region.

Today we were able to spontaneously take part in a wine tasting at Cantina Biologica Basile. After we had enjoyed a house wine by chance in a restaurant the evening before, we contacted the winery at short notice via WhatsApp. After just a few moments, we were quickly and easily invited to a tasting. Along an avenue of cypresses, we reached the idyllic growing area, where we were warmly welcomed by Giovan, the owner of the company. During a tour along his vines and in his production building, Giovan left no questions unanswered about wine. You can feel his enthusiasm and dedication to his products! But now to perhaps the most important part of my review - the wine! :-) We were able to taste a total of four wines from the winery. The guests were also served excellent culinary accompaniment, even with numerous vegetarian snacks at our special request. In addition to a fresh white wine, three red wines of different price ranges were presented, all of which delighted us. The "Comandante" and the "Ad Agio" in particular are exceptionally good! And rightly so, the Basile wines do not have to hide from the competition of their better-known neighbors from Montepulciano and Montalcino - an absolute recommendation! We particularly liked the ecological approach that the winery has followed since it was founded in 1999. Thank you for the great time! Manon & Gino from Dresden
