Wine tasting with 7 small food pairings. Florio wine , which represents the pure expression of an agronomic journey aimed at giving Marsala, also known as a "cultural wine," the first creative act of the Marsala fortified wine. Marsala Vergine Riserva from the New Geography Classic line, stored in the Garibaldi Winery, where dynamic aging conditions give it fresh and acidic marine aromas, enhanced by notes of broom and yellow flowers. Marsala Vergine Riserva , from the New Geography Premium line, with a dry and precise palate, lesser-known but highly intriguing thanks to its elegance; Marsala Vergine Riserva, from the New Geography Exclusive line, a pronounced and vertical sensory invitation, a voice that whispers evolving aromas of menthol, black tea, and licorice, while on the palate it offers chestnut honey, root, and an extraordinary persistence. Marsala Superiore Riserva Semisecco , from the New Geography Classic line, with notes of dates and custard, a pleasant palate that finishes with an elegant touch of acidity that cleanses the mouth and makes the drink enjoyable. Marsala Superiore Riserva Semisecco , from the New Geography Premium line, with notes of custard, raisins, and vanilla. On the palate, we find a pleasant pleasantness that enhances the Marsala and shows its perfect quality of refinement. Marsala Superiore Riserva Semisecco from the New Geography Exclusive line, dry and persistent tannins, and the pungent flavors of licorice, nougat, and bitter cocoa are accompanied by aromas of candied fruit and chestnuts, which are the result of prolonged contact with oak.

Visit - a good visit to the winery where Marsala wines are produced. We had a tasting of three wines, two Marsala and one Passito. Reservations must be made through the website at least one day in advance. We advise booking at least one week in advance.

This was a wonderful tour -- our guide was impressively superb. I learned alot about the history of the building, brand, climate conditions, and wine making process. The stroll through the vats was informative and engaging but at a relaxing pace and perfect pitch. Highly recommend!

An unmissable experience in one of western Sicily's most iconic and historic locations, every detail reflecting the unique Florio saga. The description of the traditional and contemporary winemaking techniques, both highly refined and complex, to produce the finest Marsala DOC wines is impressive and extremely interesting. Equally impressive are the enormous cellars housing 6 million liters of Marsala of various types and varying degrees of maturation. The tasting was excellent, and the passionate description and narration by the talented tour leader were certainly noteworthy. The wine cellar also matched the perceived excellence. An exhilarating experience, if you hadn't already guessed...
