Passing through Scansano I found this winery that produces, among other things, the famous Morellino. They don't have their own grapes but purchase from selected local producers. Very helpful and attentive staff, excellent wines. I requested to visit the cellar and I was granted without hesitation. Excellent wines... the barrels perhaps a little too intense for my tastes... but certainly an excellent and vast choice available

Great wine and excellent organic olive oil can be bought here. Certainly not a bargain, but just talking to the old gentleman is worth the money. We would love to come back and unfortunately the wine and olive oil are already running out. ;-)

We wanted to buy some good Morellino (you can also find the disgusting one at Eurospin) but as it was May 1st all the wineries I came across were closed. We saw the sign and tried it, luckily there was a truck loading some wine to be sent to Toronto (!), the owner was very kind and "sir" welcomed us even though the cellar was closed, he let us taste it two types of Morellino, we took 6 bottles plus a sparkling wine produced by them and they also gave us a discount. Very good wine, despite the 14° even with half a bottle it doesn't hit me over the head like heavy red wines usually do.
