The lady is both a phenomenon and good..... He receives us without an appointment, almost out of time constraints.... For the rest of the story, I recommend you try it.... And we are hostile customers from Montepulciano.... She is really good.... Compliments

Very beautiful place. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get on a tour since it was fully booked, so I've just visited the wine shop. It has pretty massive offering and reasonable prices. Note: the lady in the shop does not speak any English.

Wine tasting at the winery “Col d'Orcia”: Here we meet Francesco Cinzano, who is the chairman of the visionary “Col d'Orcia” winery. The Cinzano family arrived in 1973 in this area. It is now an organic producer of world class red wines. “Col d’Orcia” literally means the hill overlooking the Orcia river. This river marks the south west border of the Brunello di Montalcino territory. The name of the farm is intrinsically linked to the physical location where the vineyards are planted. Inside the estate there is a little shop, where the charming Daniela Dragoni is selling the delicious wines, which are produced here. We decided for the “Rosso di Montalcino”. This wine is a classic wine, made also with pure Sangiovese grapes. It is released already one year after the harvest. This way it retains all the freshness and fruitiness of a young wine. At the same time, it develops the intensity that only the Montalcino area is capable to deliver. Daniela has also a very tasty olive oil and a variety of local produced noodles to offer.

Wonderful experience immersed in nature, history and the commitment that has led this company to strive for excellence, bio-sustainability and the preservation of biodiversity. Our guide Enrico accompanied us on this journey with professionalism and kindness, introducing us to these three wines that we had the pleasure of tasting. Calling this experience a "tasting" is really an understatement for those who manage to "go beyond" and appreciate the beauty of much more! To repeat, to learn and explore more!

Tasting of 7 wines and a beer. Very interesting pure Cabernet Sauvignon. Brunello still needs a few years of aging. Beautiful estate
