Visit the Scenic Rheinhessen Region

Weingut & Gästehaus Beyer-Bähr is nestled in the picturesque Wonnegau area, located in the southern part of Rheinhessen. Flörsheim-Dalsheim, renowned as the most awarded wine-growing community globally, has been home to this winery since 1665. With a rich history passed down through generations, the winery has adapted and evolved, focusing exclusively on wine production, from vineyard management to bottling and distribution.

A True Family-Owned Winery

For over three centuries, Beyer-Bähr has remained a family-run business, reflecting a deep-rooted commitment to quality and tradition. The winery's philosophy emphasizes environmentally friendly and sustainable practices. Each vine is treated according to its unique needs, considering factors like location, climate, and soil. This attention to detail ensures that every grape variety thrives in its ideal terroir.

Wines Crafted for Enthusiasts

Quality begins in the vineyard and continues in the cellar. Grapes are gently pressed, and the must undergoes fermentation with minimal intervention, allowing the wine to develop its unique character each year. Beyer-Bähr aims to create wines that resonate with wine lovers, fostering a genuine appreciation for the craft.

The vineyards produce a diverse range of grape varieties, including Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Rivaner, Cabernet, Merlot, Traminer, Bacchus, Dornfelder, Scheurebe, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. These grapes are transformed into an array of red, white, rosé, sparkling, and dessert wines, each showcasing their distinct characteristics and aromas.

We took part in the “Wildlein deck dich” event on November 25th, 2023, a very successful evening. The menu and the matching wines, with a story about the creation, cultivation and development of the wines, simply a perfect evening in every respect. It is highly recommended to take part in an event at Beyer/Bähr in Flörsheim-Dalsheim.

We had a nice guest room, the breakfast was lovingly and generously prepared, with nice conversations with the hostess. Now we have to drink the delicious wine we brought with us, but then we'll definitely come back. Thank you for the pleasant time. With greetings from Cologne, Elke and Stephan

This evening we experienced an unforgettable, very nice event in Düsseldorf on the historic tram. Great wines with a very good price/performance ratio. Extremely nice couple who run the winery. Real people-catchers who today mastered the logistical challenge of serving a wine tasting with accompanying snacks on the tram in pairs and everyone always had the presented wines in their glasses very promptly. And even the free selection with a wide variety of individual wishes worked like clockwork. Thank you both of you!

We were guests of the winery and its winemaker couple at a kitchen and wine event. A tastefully furnished location within which an impressive wine tasting (10 wines) accompanying the 4-course menu (Restaurant Team Puur! Bad Dürkheim) between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. left us very positively impressed and impressed. The wines, the moderation of the tasting and the cuisine were convincing. Good winemaking and good kitchen craftsmanship - friendly, attentive service - it was perfect all around. Thank you very much for allowing us to be your guests - we would be happy to come back.

We had an extremely informative and at the same time relaxed wine tasting with Sebastian from the Beyer-Bähr winery. We sat in the garden under pavilions at a beautifully decorated table. There were several types of wine to taste and appetizers to eat. Sebastian explained a lot to us and, with one or two anecdotes, offered an extremely enjoyable and entertaining wine tasting. I would especially like to thank him for making it possible even though it was his birthday that day. Thank you for everything and we will definitely be back.!!!
