If you're seeking a delightful lunch stop before or after your visit to Vesuvius, look no further than Tenuta Le Lune del Vesuvio. This charming farm celebrates the rich culinary heritage of the region, offering a unique food and wine experience that highlights local specialties.

At Tenuta Le Lune del Vesuvio, guests can enjoy a variety of local products, including the renowned Pellecchiella apricot jam and a delicious red onion jam infused with Lacryma Christi red wine. These pair beautifully with traditional Vesuvius specialties like the vibrant red and yellow tomatoes.

The menu features seasonal dishes crafted with fresh, local ingredients, showcasing the best of Neapolitan cuisine. Each course is thoughtfully prepared to introduce you to new flavors and pairings, making for an unforgettable dining experience.

Your visit begins with a guided tour of the vineyard, vegetable garden, and stables, providing insight into the winemaking process and the local ecosystem. After the tour, you'll return to the tasting room for a delightful wine tasting accompanied by a farm-to-table lunch.

Start with homemade bread drizzled with olive oil from the estate's olive grove, paired with the Coda di Volpe Pompeiano IGT "Donna Carolina" wine. Enjoy mixed bruschettine topped with garden vegetables alongside the refreshing Lacryma Cristi del Vesuvio DOC "Janesta" white wine.

Next, savor scialatielli pasta with Piennolo cherry tomatoes, complemented by the Piedirosso Pompeiano IGT "O' Cuognolo" wine. For the main course, relish a selection of local cheeses paired with the rich Lacryma Cristi del Vesuvio DOC "Muscari" red wine.

Conclude your meal with a homemade dessert, perfectly matched with the Lacryma Cristi del Vesuvio DOC Rosso Riserva "Cratere" wine. This culinary experience is a true celebration of the flavors of Vesuvius.

Compliments to 'Tenuta Le Lune': it is an excellent winery on the slopes of the Vesuvius Volcano that offers a wide choice of wines, in particular the famous local quality of red wine "LacrymaCrhisti". Inside the company there is a wine restaurant where you can try well-cooked typical local dishes accompanied with wine tasting!!!

The “Moons of Vesuvius” represent the authentic essence of the Vesuvian wine tradition. Andrea, the owner, together with his extraordinary team of collaborators, is the soul of this reality: exquisite people who transmit passion, competence and love for the territory in every bottle. Each wine tells a story, a deep connection with the volcanic areas and their unique flavors. An unmissable experience for all those who love wine and the authenticity of Vesuvius!

Beautiful experience! In front of this very relaxing panorama at the foot of Vesuvius (photo), my husband and I did the gold route which included various dishes paired with their wines. Special mentions: - their wines are all special, the reds are something fabulous. (I would like to point out that they were also awarded at the Merano Wine Festival!) - the fusilli with sauce (local tomatoes) were nothing short of perfect. - Rossana! Very young but already an excellent hostess! She was very kind and helpful, welcoming and very very prepared. Compliments for everything, from the location to the products! I highly recommend a visit to this estate. Francesca and Damiamo from Sardinia

Rossana and her family hosted mine in a whim and they did not disappoint! True farm to table family from the grapes in their wine to the basil they put in their pasta and lemons in the dessert cake. Her mom is an excellent cook everything was delicious. The wine is off the hook! Her line of wine is especially tasty! Sorry dad, it’s good!
