I participated in a truly interesting wine tasting. It was a beautiful setting surrounded by nature and a welcoming atmosphere. What made the experience special, however, was Lucia's friendliness and helpfulness. My wife and booked a tour and tasting here and we're very happy with our choice. It's a smaller family run winery and our tour guide was Lucia, one of the family. She explained everything and then sat us down among the aging barrels for a tasting of their wines with a sampling of local cheeses, meats and bread. What you really want to know is: the wine is excellent! In addition, we had a chance to taste a much bigger vineyard's Brunello later the same day and both my wife and I agreed the Lazzeretti Brunello (same year) was much better.
