Welcome to Matković Wines, located in Potomje on the stunning Pelješac peninsula, renowned as Croatia's premier red wine region. Our tasting room and wine shop offer ample parking and comfortable seating for up to 15 guests, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a delightful wine experience. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by Petar, his wife Zeljka, or their son Luka, who will guide you through the rich winemaking history of Pelješac and share insights about each wine you sample.
During your visit, you will enjoy a curated tasting featuring one exquisite white wine, Grk, alongside four exceptional red wines: Plavac Barrique, L'amour, Dingač, and DiMare Cuvee. Each wine is paired with delicious cheese tapas, enhancing the flavors and making for a memorable tasting experience. Vinarija Matković offers a variety of wines that are a reflection of the Pelješac region. Their offer includes indigenous varieties such as Plavac Mali, which is the star of this area, as well as other varieties. The wines are of high quality, with rich aromas and perfect balances. Many visitors particularly highlight the red wines, full of character and potential.

Matković wines are definitely among the top 1% of world wines. I had the opportunity to taste all their wines and I was very impressed. Due to the small quantity and high quality, you can only buy Matković wines from them at the winery or order the wine to be sent to you by courier service. My favorite Matković wine is Nevera wine, for which they choose the best grapes.

Amazing amazing amazing! Beautiful family run winery with incredible wines. We dropped in on them in the middle of their day & they were more than happy to host us & give us a taste of all their wines. We bought every single one because they are that good! The best winery we’ve been to in Croatia (and we’ve been to a lot!)

Beautiful winery. After an agreement with the owner of the house Željka, we did a tasting and then we did it ourselves with a group from the great Dingač. Finally they ordered a couple of cardboards for the boat and painted it. If you move let yourself be absorbed.. 🙏 You will enjoy it.
