Experience the Timeless Elegance of a 17th-Century Tuscan Villa
Argiano Winery beautifully blends history with modern winemaking techniques. This estate, with roots dating back over five centuries, is surrounded by stunning vineyards and olive groves, creating a picturesque landscape. Located in the heart of Brunello di Montalcino, Tuscany, the Argiano estate spans approximately 125 hectares.
A Rich Historical Legacy
The land where Argiano stands was acquired by the Republic of Siena in the late 14th century. Over the years, it changed hands among various noble families. In the 19th century, Ersilia Caetani Lovatelli took charge, initiating wine production and vine cultivation. By 1932, Argiano earned significant accolades, including a winemaking attribution and a gold medal at the Brussels Food Fair for its exceptional dessert and table wines. Later, Countess Noemi Marone Cinzano continued this legacy, collaborating with renowned oenologist Giacomo Tachis to craft exquisite wines.
Modern Innovations
Today, Argiano is owned by a group of Brazilian entrepreneurs who have revitalized the winery. They have modernized the cellars while maintaining traditional cultivation methods. Since 2013, the estate has focused on producing high-quality Sangiovese grapes, establishing itself as a certified producer of premium red wines.
