Coffele Alberto, Classic Old Winery Reflecting the Rich History of Tuscany
Coffele Alberto is located along the hillside, in the Soave region of Italy. The vineyards extend over a land of 25 hectares (75 Veronese fields). The centuries-old olive trees, cherry trees, and woods around the winery give a mesmerizing view to the visitor. The 18th-century farmstead situates in the heart of the winery. The owner has renovated the villa with taste, elegance, and décor. Coffele Alberto Winery still reflects the rich history of the land and the estate.
Winemaking in the Third Generation
Giovanna Visco and Giuseppe Coffele are the founders of Coffele Alberto, and today their son – Alberto Coffele owns the winery. He manages all the organically managed lands on which they cultivate their vines. The imposing vineyards of the winery sit in the northernmost region of the Soave province. The presence of olive groves and woods provides mitigation from the excess sunlight and maintains a suitable microclimate. Today the third generation is handling the wine production phases.
Traditional Cultivation of Old and International Varieties
At Coffele Alberto, the owner grows a wide array of vines, including Chardonnay, along with Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. The family also cultivates unique Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and produces high-end organic white wines. They grow Garganega and Trebbiano on Ca ‘Visco, the largest vineyard of the estate. On the Alzari vineyards, the staff takes care of the old vines, grown with the traditional Veronese system. If you are a dedicated winelover plan a few days trip to the Coffele Alberto Winery and savor their luscious wines.
