Founded in 1967 by Grandpa Angelo, Azienda Agricola La Travaglina is nestled in a historic farmhouse from the late 1600s, located in Santa Giuletta on the picturesque hills of Oltrepò Pavese, at an elevation of 270 meters above sea level. Surrounded by lush woods and vineyards, the winery offers stunning views of the rolling hills and the Po Valley. At La Travaglina, we believe that high-quality grapes are the foundation of exceptional wines. By focusing on cultivating premium grapes, we simplify our winemaking process, allowing us to preserve the unique aromas and flavors that reflect our territory and traditions. Since the early 1990s, we have practiced integrated agriculture with a low environmental impact. In June 2021, we began transitioning to organic farming, further enhancing our commitment to sustainability. Our photovoltaic system, installed in 2010, meets a significant portion of our energy needs, and we are soon implementing a rainwater recovery system for use in both the vineyard and winery. Our wines are characterized by quality, a sense of place, healthiness, and drinkability. Each year, we strive to improve these qualities, ensuring that every bottle of La Travaglina wine tells a story of our land and heritage.

My partner and I spent a wonderful afternoon at La Travaglina! The owner Stefano accompanied us with preparation, professionalism and passion in visiting the vineyards and the cellar and, finally, in the tasting. We were offered 4 wines accompanied by typical local products: all exquisite, surrounded by a breathtaking view! 10/10 experience, highly recommended!! Thank you with all my heart!!

We had a tour of the cellar and a tasting with Stefano. Really nice experience and exceptional wine. Stefano was really helpful, he accompanied us for a couple of hours and explained to us all the secrets of the wine. If you are in the area it is an experience to definitely try.
