In the hills near the Gebelias plateau of Barisardo, lies a winery producing some high-quality wine blended with a noticeable aroma of Mediterranean herbs. The family-owned vineyards pinpoint about 250 meters above sea level and are exposed from southeast to the southwest. The grapes from the vineyard pack unique qualities due to the landscape assuring peak sunshine and wind from the sea. The love and hard work in working at the vineyards have resulted in the production of grapes of superior quality.

A long tradition of blending wines within generation

Tenute Gebelias has been harvesting and processing wines since the early last century. It positions itself today as one of the finest wineries in the region. An outcome of long experience in the field with the teaching and affinity to the terroir is Tenute Gebelias. The winery has been developing wines following the teaching and experience for decades.

Blending wines from varieties of top-grade grapes

The vineyard of Tenute Gebelias is favored by the natural environment and terror for the production of unique quality grapes from the terroir. The Gebalias company boats in their lineage of producing four fine kinds of wine. The vineyard yields varieties of high-quality grapes like Vermentino, Cannonau di Sardegna Doc rosé, and Cannonau pomace in the elaboration of their lineage of wines. The wines display the aromatic smell of fresh fruity and rosy as of the terroir. The terroir with loose soil with granitic “Trocco” guarantees the quality in the taste aromas and organic properties of Cannonau and Vermentino wines.
