Owned by Brigitte and Florent Battistella since 2012, Château De L'Hospital has undergone significant restoration to revive its historical charm and the vitality of its vineyards. The castle's renovation was completed in December 2017, and this commitment to quality is evident on every bottle. The winery strictly avoids synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, and chemicals, ensuring that their agricultural methods align with organic standards as verified by Ecocert.
The vineyards are home to a diverse range of grape varieties, including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris, and Sémillon. These grapes are transformed into organic red, white, rosé, and dessert wines. Visitors can enjoy the stunning castle grounds, which are available for events, and stay in luxurious accommodations. Write a reviewA magnificent place to visit in the autumn for the wedding fair. Pretty spacious reception rooms. I was captivated by the brightness inside and the large windows that open to the outside. There are 2 kitchens respectively a kitchen and a tasting room with a large central island. A large terrace overlooking the wooded park. There is a water point with relaxation area which must be very pleasant in summer. I liked the presentation and tasting of the organic wines in the shop. I took 3 very good ones. Adjacent vineyards and ample parking.

An exquisite chateau with a breathtaking view of the sprawling backyard, blending elegance with timeless charm. Our stay was nothing short of extraordinary, leaving us with unforgettable memories. The L'Hospital wine, a hidden gem, is vastly underrated & an exceptional Bordeaux that deserves far more recognition.
