Having bought a case of Château des Bachelards Fleurie 2022 (I unfortunately can't remember where... but I'm sure I'll find out... 😀), I can assure you it's outstanding. Its notes of red fruit make it a true delight. Congratulations on this well-deserved result 😉! I'm already looking forward to opening the next bottle 😀!

We had a wonderful visit to Château des Bachelards. There were four of us, and we enjoyed a private tour of the wine cellar, a delicious wine tasting, and then a delightful picnic in the vineyard. The food was regional and delicious, and the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely return and highly recommend it. It was a perfect day, and everyone in our group was thrilled!

Perfection! Matthieu was a terrific host for our tour and picnic in the vineyards! What a beautiful Chateau! Upon arriving, Matthieu immediately brought the four of us a glass of beautiful Beaujolais wine with a perfect light orange color that you just don't see in the US. 😊 We drank the wine as Matthieu toured with us across the Chateau and into the vines, explaining all the nuances of the terroir and gamay grapes grown on their land. He then walked us through the winery and the entire process of creating the wine from the time they are harvested to the time they are bottled and stored. We then had a picnic out in the vines of the Chateau with Matthieu providing wonderful service, food and wine. We ordered multiple bottles of wine which will be shipped back to the US when the temperature cools down later this fall. If you are visiting Beaujolais region, do not miss Chateau des Bachelards!
