Premium wines, could the combination get any better? You’ll have to visit Colline de Daval to find out for yourself.

Colline de Daval is a Family Tradition

The family has been into winemaking for years now and there is no doubt about the passion they lead it with. At Colline de Daval, they offer a complete immersion into the world of wines. Given their diversity of wines and control of the entire production chain, there is something for everyone.

A Historical and Dreamy Winery

At Colline de Daval, the wines are made of dreams, or dreams are made of wines. It goes both ways with this family. The dream goes way back to 1910, when after years of searching for the right land in Argentina, Candide Zufferey came across this one. It was able to bring two families and two wineries together after the wedding of Monique and Bertrand Caloz-Evequoz. The winery has been owned by five generations, each generation skilfully and lovingly passing on the knowledge and tips.

Common Values

A single goal can seldom be achieved with different values. At Colline de Daval, the family might have different backgrounds but they share common values driving them towards the same goal : quality wines.

We came for a wine tasting at the new little outlet. The welcome was friendly and the employee who made us taste the wine was very professional and gave us very good information! It was a pleasure to learn a little more about the different grape varieties, with a very rich Valais platter!

We had a great weekend at Castel de Daval. Very friendly host, whose enthusiasm for local products was palpable. Great breakfast and very good wine tasting. A few bottles fit in our luggage - we will remember this weekend fondly when we drink. Great offer with the e-bike rental - ideal for exploring the wonderful region.

Wonderful place, the view from the room is awesome, the service from the owners were top notch; Hugo, Benoite and Bertrand are wonderful hosts. The wines were excellent. The canned asparagus are something you will never find in the supermarket, you feel the fermentation and your gut will be very very happy with a great taste. Recommended to all people that love nature and peace.

A very nice discovery of this castle where we spent a pleasant stay. We really appreciated the welcome and above all the tasting of the products offered by the Caloz/Evequoz family. All the wines, liqueurs and other products are of exceptional quality. We noticed to what extent this family goes to great lengths to achieve such a degree of excellence in their services, whether it be accommodation, supervision during the tasting but above all with all the love that one can feel in their wines. We spent 2 nights in the Cornalin room. It is a very nice room, with space, a nice balcony where you can enjoy drinks (wine, fruit juice, etc.) that are made available (for a fee, of course ;-) in the fridges in the common guest area. A very good breakfast served with very good homemade products by local artisans, what a joy! A must-visit address to return for one night or more! But above all to order from time to time a few bottles of wine and magnificent fruity surprises straight from the still...
