Located in the picturesque Rhône Valley, Domaine Galevan is a family-run winery led by Coralie, the first woman to manage this nine-generation estate. Inspired by her parents, Pierrette and Jean-Pierre, as well as her ancestors, Jean-Francois and Eloi, Coralie blends modern techniques with traditional winemaking practices. The name "Galevan" reflects a commitment to balancing creativity with time-honored methods, ensuring the quality and consistency of their wines. Coralie's dedication results in wines that embody elegance and femininity, earning recognition from wine enthusiasts around the globe.
Domaine Galevan spans 60 hectares, with 56 dedicated to organic vineyards. The estate employs sustainable farming practices to maintain ecological balance and ensure the health of the vines for future generations. With nearly 50-year-old vines, the estate produces low yields of high-quality grapes. The vineyards cultivate some of the finest Rhône grape varieties, including red grapes like Syrah, Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache, and Mourvèdre, as well as white varieties such as Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Marsanne, Bourboulenc, and Roussanne. Only the best grapes are selected for their renowned red and white wines, which proudly carry three protected Designations of Origin: Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes du Rhône Villages, and Côtes du Rhône.

Write a reviewCoralie and her son were delightful. They were happy to answer any and all of our questions. They gave us a very personalized tour and then a very personalized tasting. Each wine was amazing regardless of its price or vintage. We ended up buying one of each to enjoy while we are in the region. If you enjoy small family wineries, this is your place. Coralie is the ninth generation owner and, I believe, the first female wine maker. It was wonderful and educational to hear how she and her sons work together to make and distribute fabulous wines. If you only have one stop in Chateau Neuf du Pape territory, make this your stop.
We had a great afternoon with the managers of this winery, a great family history and above all a passion for wine. The explanations are complete yet simple. Visit the cellar, the property is magnificent. The tasting is also completed with rosé, red and white, we had a very good time, we will come back to buy more wine and why not repeat the visit with other friends to show them this very beautiful field, congratulations again to the whole team for this know-how!

A very pleasant experience in this place full of history, a warm welcome from the son of the estate manager, very educational, attentive to questions and who takes the time to explain, discover and, somewhere, transmit his passion. Pleasant tasting, everything was a perfect quality-price ratio. Go there with your eyes closed.
