Kingsley Grove Estate is a family-owned winery established in 1998 by Michael and Patricia Berry. Nestled in the picturesque South Burnett Region of Queensland, near Kingaroy, our vineyard began with the first plantings in 1998, and the winery was completed in 2002, marking our first commercial vintage. Kingaroy, known for its peanut and navy bean production, has a rich history of viticulture dating back to the early 1900s and is now recognized as Queensland's second-largest wine region.

Crafting Unique Queensland Wines

Situated at 430 meters above sea level, our 24-acre vineyard features eleven grape varieties. Easily visible from the Bunya Highway, our estate showcases the unique qualities of the South Burnett climate and soil. We follow a ‘Berry to Bottle’ philosophy, creating wines that resonate with the Queensland palate. Our styles are inspired by European wines, particularly those from Mediterranean regions, known for their low alcohol content and vibrant character. This approach allows us to offer a diverse range of wines, from traditional varietals to innovative blends, reflecting our passion for winemaking.

Wine Tasting, Wood-Fired Pizzas, and Unique Experiences

At Kingsley Grove, we cultivate a variety of grapes, producing award-winning wines, including straight varietals, blends, sparkling wines, and fortified options. Our cellar door welcomes visitors for wine tastings seven days a week from 10 am to 5 pm. On weekends and public holidays, we serve food from 11 am to 4 pm, featuring our renowned wood-fired pizzas, seasonal dishes, and our delightful wine ice cream.

Join us for a tour of our working winery, often led by the winemaker. We also offer a beautiful venue for gatherings and weddings, providing a memorable experience in a stunning setting.

Highly recommended with some really nice red wines, a warm and friendly service, and pleasant indoor seating and atmosphere. Not a glamorous setting as some of the other vineyards, but this place has its own charm which was nice. Staff were lovely and friendly, and the pizzas looked delicious! Dogs allowed to stay on leash in the seating area outside.

Our group stayed for 2 nights at Kingsley Grove Winery, we were met and given an indication where to set up camp by Simon on arrival on the Friday afternoon. We had a booking for wine tasting and a pizza lunch on the Saturday afternoon. The red and white wine was quiet exceptional, as for the pizza that Simon prepared and cook was enjoyable with a glass or 2... of wine. Highly recommend Kingsley Grove.

It was our first visit to Kingsley Grove Estate and it won’t be our last! Grace was brilliant - she made us feel welcome and took us through the wine tasting with many laughs. Lunch was beautiful - the nicest pear and walnut salad we have ever eaten and the yummiest pizza as well! Our friends had the gluten Free base and said it was the nicest they have had too. It was just such a relaxing time and laid-back place to enjoy lunch and wine with friends. Thank you for making our afternoon so nice!

Lovely peaceful time spent here on a very spacious and well cared for camping area. Wine tasting experience was as lovely as the wines. The ambiance of the cellar door and restaurant was lovely. Simon, and his daughter who was in charge of the wine tasting, were most congenial. We certainly will visit again when we return to the South Burnett region.

There are good hosts, and there are great hosts, and then there’s Simon and his family! We seriously cannot say enough good things about this amazing place! We loved learning about the history of Kingsley Gove Estate from Polly; hearing that her grandfather first established the vineyard in 1998, and how her father has now taken over the running and operation of the vineyard. Simon is incredibly welcoming. You feel relaxed from the moment you arrive, the caravan site is free and very spacious, so please support this wonderful venue by buying some of Simon’s fabulous woodfired pizzas, and even better, some of the vineyards beautiful wines (seriously good wines and ports!). Thank you Simon, Polly and family, your venue, your product and your hospitality are all FABULOUS!
