Grecian Winemaking with Skill, Complexity, and Prestige

Discover the Family-Run Winery, Koroniotis

Koroniotis Estate Winery is a family-owned boutique winery that produces single-variety wines for the discerning wine drinker to enjoy. The winery is located in the northeast Peloponnese, with its unique climate and panorama views. The winery is situated strategically between the Nemea and Mantinia viticultural zones. Moreover, the winery enjoys impressive landscapes, surrounded by Mycenae’s ancient excavation, the Argolic Gulf, and the ancient castle of Argos, ancient Greece’s oldest city.

Koroniotis Winery creates wines to achieve an authentic Greek style with intense fruit flavors and a great concentration. The wine is well-balanced and has a smooth structure.

The Winemaking Process of Koroniotis

In their winery, French and American oak barrels are used extensively for maturation. The climate of Peloponnese is fundamental to the creation of its fine wines. Most vineyards are located on slopes with poor soils and excellent drainage, which ensure maximum quality. Kyriakos Koroniotis carefully keeps the vines in superb condition using his agricultural and soil-science experience. The main types of grapes grown include Malvasia di Candia Aromatika, Assyrtiko, Moschofilero, Agiorgitiko, Syrah, and Merlot. The best grapes go into the making of their famous red, white, and rosé wines.

The International Success of the Winery

Koroniotis Estate Winery has made a name for itself as a great wine producer. The quality of the estate wines has been recognized through local and international wine competition awards. Special attention is given to the quantity and good condition of the vineyards. Both owners and the affiliated winemakers in Nemea and Mantinia craft excellent wines showcasing these wine regions’ superior winemaking on the island of Peloponnese.
