The Ancient Arch; The beginning

We grew up with the rhythms and times of the farmers, with the values of respect for nature and the territory, of traditional techniques and tools that for our grandparents were sacred and immutable; we were "educated" in the taste of oil and wine, savoring and grasping the variations, the different nuances depending on the climate and soil conditions from year to year. A real passion was born in us, which we did not want to abandon and spread as much as possible by sharing colours, scents and flavors that are the basis of a genuine, healthy and rich agricultural culture.

Traditions

Just as our great-great-grandparents dedicated their time and lives to the vineyards and olive groves, we feel the duty and pleasure of responding to this "vocation". Combining respect for the territory and tradition, research, technology and creativity.

Built on the desire to preserve

These reasons pushed us in the only possible direction: to increase the family vineyards by planting native vines or those close to this territory, to build a real company in which the production phases are all carried out with respect for the raw materials, the soil, and the natural times, from growth to maturation, from harvesting to aging in oak barrels, making use of our skills and also paying attention to innovative technologies. Even the choice of the name, "L'Arco Antico Srl", was dictated by the desire to respect and enhance tradition and culture, the arch in fact exists on land owned by the family. Our goal is to offer quality products in which those characteristics, expression of the territory, research, balance, originality, elegance and passion are found. Arco Antico Srl, thanks to a careful evaluation of the territory, has chosen to dedicate itself to the cultivation and production of the original vines of our lands: Tintilia, Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Falanghina, to produce wines with marked and harmonious colours, aromas and scents. flavours. , intense, but also delicate and velvety just like this land of ours with its many facets that can only be grasped thanks to ancient ties and the love that binds us to it.

Our family has done nothing but collect and carry on a territorial tradition of such ancient memory. The company, founded in 2008, is representative of the production of red and white wines, and the support of a young winemaker contributes fundamentally to the correct management of all phases of production, from the vineyard to the cellar, up to the final results.

We discovered this wonderful place through Agricamper. Mario is a very kind person; he welcomed us warmly and showed us his winery, letting us taste some of the wine. The next morning, he invited us to breakfast, which was delicious! Mario, thank you for this experience.

We had an amazing time at L’arco Antico Winery. We had a tour at the vineyard and olive groves, and then we had a delicious lunch with wine tastings! We felt extremely welcomed and had the best time with Mario and the team! Would definitely come back and visit!

Well… what can I say… A certainly new way to experience products of the land and the vineyard in the company of Mario who with passion and dedication is developing a new idea of tourism. Arriving with two campers he hosted us in the garden of the estate. After a hearty dinner of local products and a tasting of their wines, extensively described by Mario, we were able to stay overnight for free without having to drive. A very pleasant evening in the simplicity and genuineness of the place and the people. Thanks also to Alessandro and Ben.

On every cold evening, every Thursday in November, searching on Google Maps where to have dinner in an almost deserted Pozzilli, we were lucky enough to come across this truly "special" place! Mario's spontaneous kindness welcomed us and immediately made us feel at ease. What followed was a very pleasant evening in his company, in a unique and original atmosphere, with numerous tastings of genuine local products, including bread and "new" oil, accompanied by excellent wine that Mario expertly selected from time to time. The appetizer was followed by a rich, exquisite first course that definitely put an end to the word "appetite"! We will definitely be back!
