Chianti Classico, the splendid countryside that stretches between Florence and Siena, is a land of extraordinary beauty and profound historical, cultural, and artistic depth.

Among the most fascinating forms of expression it has cradle is wine.

The Tenuta Lamole di Lamole was founded in the post-war period.

The historic cellar, which still houses the aging rooms and the vinsantaia, dates back to the mid-14th century; it was part of the Lamole Castle.

The structure is now flanked by a more modern winery nearby and a structure in the valley floor, in the Greti area.

The estate covers a total of 288 hectares, 37 of which are planted to vines in the Lamole area. The average age of our vines is approximately 25-30 years, with peaks of 74 years in the upper part of the Il Prato vineyard.

I bought this bottle in Bracciano at a nice wine shop. A good Ribolla Gialla, mineral and not too structured, with flavors that aren't too persistent, but still pair well with meat.
