Muschi Alti Winery, Dedication for Excellent Wines

Cradled in the gentle hills, Muschi Alti Winery– an ancient farmstead, is located a short drive away from Grosseto Maremma, near the city of Roselle in Tuscany. It is beautifully residing between the valley of Ombrone and Maremma, and a stone throw away from the shore of the medieval Lake Prile. Surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and arable land, the Muschi Alti winery has dedicated itself to the production of excellent quality wines, grappa, honey, and olive oil.

Respecting Ancient Traditions of Winemaking

The tale of the Muschi Alti began in 1998 when the Ottonelli family acquired the land in the DOC Montecucco production area. The farmstead has been recently restored for the guests, according to the traditional architecture of ancient Tuscan. Also, the wine production area has been renovated and equipped with modern features, respecting the ancient traditions of winemaking. Today, the vineyards of Muschi Alti Winery extend over four hectares, whereas ten hectares have been given to olive plantation. Furthermore, the arable land is expanded up to an area of six hectares. In the vineyards, the Ottonelli Family grows a vast range of grapes, which include top-quality Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Vermentino. The staff picks these high-quality grapes by hands and delivers them for further processing to produce delicious wines, such as red and white wines, in combination with delicious rose wines, all under the Montecucco DOC and Toscana IGT labels. Besides wines, Muschi Alti Winery also produces rich quality extra virgin olive oil.
