Muschi Alti Winery: A Commitment to Quality Wines

Nestled in the picturesque hills of Tuscany, Muschi Alti Winery is an ancient farmstead located just a short drive from Grosseto Maremma, near Roselle. This charming winery sits between the Ombrone Valley and the Maremma region, close to the historic Lake Prile. Surrounded by lush olive groves and vineyards, Muschi Alti is dedicated to producing high-quality wines, grappa, honey, and olive oil.

Honoring Traditional Winemaking Practices

The story of Muschi Alti began in 1998 when the Ottonelli family acquired this land in the DOC Montecucco production area. The farmstead has been thoughtfully restored to reflect traditional Tuscan architecture, while the wine production facilities have been modernized to enhance winemaking processes. Today, the winery spans four hectares of vineyards and ten hectares of olive groves, with an additional six hectares of arable land. The Ottonelli family cultivates a variety of grapes, including Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Vermentino. These hand-picked grapes are transformed into exquisite red, white, and rosé wines, all under the Montecucco DOC and Toscana IGT labels. Additionally, Muschi Alti produces premium extra virgin olive oil.

Relax in Comfortable Accommodations

The newly restored accommodations at Muschi Alti are designed for comfort and relaxation. Guests can choose from three well-appointed independent double rooms, each featuring a private bathroom and a balcony that offers stunning views of the Tuscan countryside. This serene setting provides the perfect backdrop for a memorable stay.

Visited this winery during our vacation in Tuscany and it exceeded all our expectations. The wine is of the best quality we’ve tasted. It is made in small batches, therefore authentic and traditional. The owner is very friendly and showed us his vineyard and production area. Recommend to vist this place!
