Winery Committed to the Use of Sustainable Methods
Steitz Winery is committed to producing the best wines using sustainable winemaking methods. While constantly discovering new techniques and practices, the team works hard to produce quality and finesse-filled wines for their customers. The microclimate, rainfall, temperature, and soil in the region add interesting challenges and growth in the cultivation of vines. Vineyards for the winery are located throughout Galgenberg, Roemerberg, Sonnenberg, Mandelbaum, Paradies, and Rosenberg as they cultivate roughly 15 hectares of vines. The presence of many different soil types gives a unique taste and exclusive attributes to their wines reflecting the quality of their vineyards. Steitz feels the relationship between the local terroir and their vines employing sustainable practices to protect their land for future generations.
