Upper Reach Winery is a charming family-owned boutique winery located along the picturesque banks of Perth’s Swan River. Nestled in the vibrant Swan Valley, it is surrounded by a community of artisanal producers, including wineries, breweries, and chocolate factories.

Owner Derek, who grew up on a wheat farm in Wubin, discovered his passion for wine while working in a wine shop in London. In 1997, he and his partner Laura returned to Western Australia to establish Upper Reach. Their initial challenge was mastering grape cultivation and winemaking, a craft they continue to refine.

Over the years, they have developed a welcoming cellar door, a delightful restaurant, and a beautifully refurbished cottage.

Fabulous venue. Excellent wine tasting. Perfect pizzas! Booked as a group. Pre ordered pizzas so all could come out together, but ours was a large group, so in two lots. Excellent wines to enjoy with meal. Restaurant there as well, but we'll go back another day for that! Gorgeous setting amidst lake, grassed areas and vineyard.

Lovely spring afternoon at the treehouse pizza,we where able to book a couple of tables as we where celebrating numerous birthdays.Great area to gaze over the vineyards,staff where excellent very helpful and attentive.oh,and the wines are dam good! +Indy is such good company…..
