Daniele Delaini, the owner of the winery, aims to restore Bardolino wine as one of the best in the world.
Winery using Biodynamic and Organic principles
Villa Calicantus is the first winery in the appellation, working with biodynamic and organic principles. It is because of the biodynamic methods that they are able to make classic Bardolino wines that truly reflect the quality and culture of the region.
Since the beginning, there has been no use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
All this preserves the health of the vineyards and protects the environment too. The main grapes that grow here are Corvina, Molinara, and Rondinella used to make the red, rose, and sparkling wines.
