Visit to the salt pan with a historical-social framework of the Castro Marim salt pans. Collection of salt, (in-season action), or examples of how the extraction is done, explaining the process from the ocean to the salt shaker (out-of-season action). Salt tasting accompanied by local tomato and fresh cheese, cockle popcorn (or other bivalve), shrimp or prawns. In the end, a rich soup of fish, fresh fruit, and fig brandy will be served. The entire tasting will be accompanied by white wine.
