Cantina Sedilesu: a journey through tradition, territory and passion During my visit to Mamoiada, I had the pleasure of discovering the Sedilesu winery, a place where the passion for viticulture is intertwined with history and territory. With the help of Luca, a passionate and knowledgeable person, I tasted five extraordinary wines that tell the authentic soul of this land. • La Granazza and La Granazza en piel: bright, fresh and tasty whites, with elegant aromas of citrus and almonds, which surprise with their unique character. • The reds Cannonau Ghirada Zi Spanu and Ghirada Murruzzones: intense, deep, with aromas of ripe red fruits, Mediterranean herbs and sweet spices. On the palate they are harmonious, persistent and elegant. • Popassa, a meditative red, structured and velvety, with notes of dried fruits, cocoa, vanilla and aromatic herbs. Each glass was a sensory journey between past and future, where the winemaking tradition is renewed without losing the connection with the roots. An unforgettable experience in a place that I recommend to anyone who loves authentic wines and the warmth of Sardinian hospitality. A winery with a production of spectacular wines to say the least! We did not visit or do any tastings. They have a very well designed website with very detailed information about their wines so we already had clear ideas about the purchases to make. We will do the visit and tastings on our next visit.

We came to Mamoiada mainly to see the mask museum but to our surprise we found it closed. So we turned to other types of experiences to do in the surroundings and among the few activities open on Sunday we found the Giuseppe Sedilesu winery. We are not wine lovers and even less knowledgeable about the sector, but either because of the stifling heat or to learn something new, we opted to visit the winery in question. We can only congratulate Sara and Luca, who run the reception, a young and passionate couple. Sara guided us through the wine tasting with an enviable passion for telling the story, the wines, the family. On the other hand, Luca accompanied us on the visit to the winery and opened up a world to us, very good in the different explanations. Two people who really make you feel at home. We will return to Piedmont with very good memories.

We stayed two days in Galtelli, as we didn't have time for the beach we looked for other plans such as the wineries since we are passionate about wine! Searching and searching we found the winery of Sara and Luca's family. Luca understood us perfectly, he made us the tour of the winery in Spanish, making an effort so that we understood him, then he made us a tasting of 8 wines and we accompanied it with cheese and sausages! The truth is that we felt at home and we loved the visit! Thank you very much for treating us like this and doing everything with so much love! We hope to see you on another occasion! 😊
