Château des Ravatys offers you an electric bike ride through some of our plots, followed by the ascent of Mont Brouilly, then a guided tasting tour of the wine estate. You will finish with a picnic in the vineyards.
You will start the day with a guided bike ride along the hilly areas of Beaujolais. The exceptional setting of Mont Brouilly will offer you a splendid view of the Beaujolais coast. Then, you will return to the estate, and continue with an introduction to the history of the château, and a visit to the clos du château. The team will guide you to the winery where they will explain the process from the arrival of the harvest to the end of fermentation. You will also be able to see the many vats and the imposing press.
To continue the visit, you will go to the 2 underground cellars and enjoy a tasting of 3 wines in the cellar.
Finally, depending on the weather, in the heart of the vineyards, at the foot of Mont Brouilly, or in the large cellar of the château, you can enjoy a delicious platter of local charcuterie and cheeses, seasonal fruits, fresh bread and a glass of wine from the estate.
Visits to the winery are possible for groups of 10 people or more. Tasting takes place during opening hours or by appointment only. People over 18 years old can visit the shop.

As a wedding photographer in Mâcon (so not far away), I had the pleasure of immortalizing Clémentine and Geoffroy's wedding on May 11th at the Château des Ravatys! This place is simply magical! 😍 It was my first time there and I really liked it, the green gardens, the interiors, everything is elegant... every corner is perfect for unique wedding photos. ✨ Not only is the castle magnificent, but it is perfectly maintained and the on-site team takes great care of it, really professional and adorable!
