We stumbled upon this winery and we were SO happy we did! A special thank you to Esther for giving us an unbelievable tasting and welcoming us with such care. The red wine is out of this world — best wine we had during our trip in Tuscany. If you are looking for wine that is authentic and a true Chianti, then this is the place for you. Its a hidden gem in all of Tuscany!

One of the best wineries we visited in Italy! The "rosato ESTROVERSO" wine is very good!! But the best thing is the friendliness and cordiality of the owner and his staff! A wonderful experience!

What an amazing experience Elena provided us at this family run gem. My husband and I stayed in the Tuscany area for a week and on a rainy day where we were actually relaxing for a change, we got anxious that we were not visiting yet another winery so my husband inquired about a tasting with under an hour left in their work day. Elena promptly replied and got us in the door for a tasting, an intriguing history lesson of the winery, and a sampling of top notch olive oil. We met Elena's father and I will always remember how genuine he was towards us. Of course the Chianti was great but what really resonated with us were the mixture of grapes in the Crepuscolo, so unique and we are very excited to have it in our cellar to remember this fantastic experience. Trust us and go to this winery!

Absolutely wonderful wine tasting and olive oil samples! You must visit this small, family run winery and olive oil production. They all clearly care so much about the craft they take part in, and the wines/oils were delicious. If you want a very personal experience, you must visit Poggio as Bosco! We will definitely come back if/when we visit Tuscany again!

We had booked a tasting with a guided tour. The tour was shortened, but we still paid €30 for the somewhat overpriced tour. The olive oils were very good, and the wines were satisfactory to good. For that price, they could have easily offered some more cheese and meat.

My husband and I did a private tour which was wonderful! We got some history about the vineyard, saw the grape vines and olive trees, and then ended with tastings of a few different wines, olive oils, pesto and some chocolate spreads. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were also able to ship back to the US. We had an amazing time!

Visiting Italy ten years apart, there were few places I wanted to revisit. Poggio al Bosco was a special experience back when I first visited in 2014, and it still is in 2024. They are some of the sweetest people you'll ever meet, and the wines are of extremely high quality. I've shipped bottles home both times I've visited, and I've ordered from them stateside several times as well. Poggio al Bosco will always hold a place in my heart as a wonderful Italian vineyard. The family's love and care for the process is evident in the wine, and I could not be happier to continue supporting them. Here's hoping it won't be ten more years before I visit again.
