🍷The brand "Anaseuli" appeared quite recently; the production of alcoholic beverages, in the village of the same name in Guria, was founded in 2014 on the initiative of Gocha Chkhaidze (Askaneli Brothers). 🏞️The place was not chosen by chance, firstly, Guria is the historical homeland of the Chkhaidze brothers, hence their ancestors. Secondly, the Guria region is famous for its fertile lands and clean ecology; a large number of fruits grow here in abundance, as well as the Georgian indigenous wine variety of pink grapes - chkhaveri. 🍇Chkhaveri (chhaveli) belongs to the group of grape varieties of Guria. Due to unique climatic conditions, it is grown only in Guria and a little in Adjara. The wine from Chkhaveri is very delicate, harmonious, rich, with moderate alcohol content, aromas of peach and white fruit, and has high taste qualities. This variety has a very late ripening period - in the regions of Guria, the grapes begin to ripen in the second half of November, they are harvested with the first frosts. 🏭In 2015, on the basis of a former tea factory, “Anaseuli Plant”, equipped with the most modern equipment, began producing fruit vodkas and chacha from Chkhaveri. The product is produced under the trademarks “Anaseuli” and “OTKA” in a wide range of organically pure fruits: citrus, cherry plum (tkemali), persimmon, plum, pear, peach, apple, feihua and blueberry are being prepared for release. ☝️By the way, “otka” is the historical name of Gurian fruit vodka, in the production of which ancient homemade recipes have always been used. 🍾The small production of "Anaseuli" is distinguished by its original bottle design, original drink recipes, and most importantly, methods of purification and filtration of the product that cannot be used in large factories. 👫During the tourist season, the factory conducts interesting excursions with tasting. We were lucky; on a November Sunday, we were hospitably greeted by chief technologist Guram Nikolaishvili, who gave us a detailed tour and told us about the production of chacha and tea. @guramnikolaishvili thank you! It was very interesting!
