A Family Tradition of Quality Winemaking in Emilia-Romagna
For over 60 years, Cantina Randi has been dedicated to cultivating and preserving vineyards in the beautiful region of Emilia-Romagna, nestled between the first foothills of the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines and the coast. This fertile land is ideal for viticulture, allowing us to produce renowned wines that reflect the essence of our territory.
Today, our agricultural company manages 60 hectares of vineyards, focusing on the unique wines and gastronomy that Romagna is known for. We pride ourselves on natural quality, simplicity, and flavor, which permeate every aspect of our production and relationships. Our vineyards feature a variety of grapes, including Longanesi, Trebbiano, Famoso, Centesimino, Malbo Gentile, Pinot, Sauvignon, and Chardonnay. From these grapes, we craft our signature labels, Randi, Bursôn, and Rambëla, which embody the excellence of our land and adhere to traditional production methods.
Since 1950, Cantina Randi has been a family-owned business, currently managed by Massimo and Denis, who ensure that quality remains at the forefront of every process. In the early 2000s, we shifted our focus to enhancing the unique characteristics of our wines, catering to those who appreciate taste and drinkability.
Our journey began in 2000 with our entry into the “Il Bagnacavallo” protection consortium, recognizing our commitment to Longanesi grape production. The following years saw the launch of our first Randi label in 2001, participation in the Enoteca Regionale di Dozza, and admission to Vinitaly. By 2008, we achieved a production capacity of 20,000 bottles, marking the release of our first 800 bottles of Rambëla.
Our ongoing research into grape varieties has allowed us to introduce unique wines like Centesimino and Famoso to the market. Since 2010, we have participated in various competitions, showcasing the quality of our wines. Gianmario Villa, our brand ambassador in the United States, has played a crucial role in expanding our reach to international markets, including Europe, East Asia, and North America, with representatives in California, China, and Japan.
As we enter the 2020s, Cantina Randi proudly produces over 100,000 bottles annually, with every harvest certified organic since 2021. Join us in celebrating the rich winemaking heritage of Emilia-Romagna.
