Distinctive Wines of Château Maresque

The winery produces a variety of wines using traditional grape varieties. A great welcome, a lovely tasting with very good wines. A little favorite for the red of the year 2015. We were given a tour of the premises and were able to gain an insight into the wonderful history of the vineyard. I recommend!!

Beautiful vineyard! Me and my husband popped up unannounced on a Sunday and the owner was kind enough to spare some of his time and knowledge about the wines they grew around the estate. We are considering going back another time. We bought 6 reasonably priced bottles.

5 stars, Lucas welcomed us without reservation, gave us a private tasting and told us the whole story of his life/winery. By the time we finished the tasting, we were fed up.

With so many domains in Gaillac it can be hard to choose and luckily we found Mr. Lucas' Domain, a real wine passionate. It is a family business where the new generation has introduced modern, easy to drink wines yet preserving the traditional methods for the ones who prefer more robust, tasty, classic wines. The reds are a must try. Worthwhile experience for both connoisseurs and the curious audience!
