In 1997, Cannan acquired the Clos Figueras estate based on the recommendation of René Barbier from Clos Mogador. The winery spans 18 hectares of unique llicorella soil, situated in Gratallops. The vineyards feature old Carignan (Carinyena) and Grenache (Garnatxa) vines, alongside newer varieties like Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chenin Blanc. The renowned team led by Barbier oversees the vineyard management, vinification, and aging processes, ensuring the production of high-quality wines.
Christopher and his wife Charlotte are dedicated to crafting exceptional wines enjoyed around the globe. Their flagship wine, Clos Figueras, showcases the depth and complexity of old-vine Grenache and Carignan. Excellent place to eat, a very cozy and decorative place. The quality of the food is also excellent, very in line with the price, it is not expensive. The coffee is very good. I will definitely go back. Best regards.

We did not stay at the hotel, just a visit to the winery with a tasting of five wines. The host who did the tour was very attentive and informative. The tasting of the five wines is very well organized and informative, very familiar. The cellar where the wines are aged is spectacular. Needless to say, the wines of the Clos Figueres winery are exquisite at all levels and a good range of vintages for the Clos Figueres winery stronghold. Highly recommended.

A very cosy restaurant. There is a terrace which is nice for having a vermouth in the sun and there are very few tables inside but the food is very good. Call to book. There is a lot of variety. We ordered bread with tomato, a selection of patés and for the main course, langoniza. Very good. The staff is very attentive and polite. We liked it a lot.
