We had a great guided tour led by Balázs who was really helpful. The tour in the cellar - with wine tasting included - is something which is definitaly worth paying for, the tunnels are quite old but are in good shape, and the whole cellar is basically a large labirinth. The wines are also nice, so if you are here, picking up some bottles is recommended. We absolutely enjoyed the experience.

Very nice meeting, very nice tasting. We can taste 6 or 8 Tokaj wines, with a visit to the cellars

We visited this wonderful winery in the heart of the Tokaj region and tasted their delicious wines. The "bottle hunt" in the spectacular underground tunnels is great fun. Bring a shirt to cover yourself as it is 13 degrees down there. I didn't have one but there are blankets for those who need them. We did a good job of filling up their bottles. Recommended visit

I absolutely loved the wine cellar and the cellar tour. Had a really lovely experience. Went there on Saturday in the evening as part of the ‘Jó éjszakát Mád’ weekend and unfortunately already missed the last tour. The lady was super lovely and we had a lovely chat - she even offered me a glass of bubbly. I went back for the tour, which I was very much interests in as you can already see the production zone from the reception/wine shop with the big stainless steel barrels. Our guide explained everything in detail then he handed us a treasure hunt map through the vast cellar underground system - there was a family with children on the tour with us, they absolutely loved it. It’s a massive cave system, like a maze. Loved that they have a massive hall in the middle with an art installation that makes all sorts of sounds. It’s just all well thought through - the entire brand has so much inspiration, loved it. The wine is exquisite too. Well recommended! You need to book advance for a tour and they do it in English too.

This was our absolute favorite part of the wine region. Mád is a beautiful country town and Holdvölgy is the gem. The grounds are gorgeous as you arrive and the experience was incredible. We tasted 3 drys and 3 sweets and our only regret is not having enough room in our luggage to take them all home! Our guide was very knowledgeable, interesting, fun and approachable. The treasure hunt element especially was such a fun touch. How cool to navigate through tunnels! The art installation also elevated our experience. We went to other wineries and this was our favorite. Amazing wines, good prices and an amazing experience. Highly highly recommend!
