A Rich Heritage of Winemaking

Mannucci Droandi Winery is rooted in a long-standing tradition of farming and winemaking. The Mannucci family has been landowners in Valdarno since the early 19th century, while the Droandi family has been cultivating the land in Carmignano since the 18th century. Notably, Lorenzo Droandi was a pioneer in modern agriculture, known for his work at Fattoria del Borro in the late 19th century. Today, this family-run estate focuses on producing high-quality wines by combining traditional methods with innovative practices.

Commitment to Organic Farming

Spanning 100 hectares, the Mannucci Droandi estate is managed by Società Agricola Nuova Agricoltura, led by President Maria Grazia Mammuccini, along with Roberto Giulio Droandi and consultant enologist Gianfrancesco Paoletti. Certified organic since 2000, the winery is located in both the Chianti and Chianti Classico regions. It offers a selection of organic wines that showcase the unique terroir of Tuscany. Notable offerings include the elegant Chianti Colli Aretini DOCG, the robust Chianti Classico DOCG Ceppeto and Ceppeto Riserva, and the Campolucci Toscana Rosso IGT. A highlight is "The Yesterdays’ Wines Collection," featuring single-varietal IGT red wines made from ancient Tuscan grape varieties like Barsaglina, Pugnitello, and Foglia Tonda.

Winery with noble traditions, where a quality wine is produced (the only Black Rooster in the area) with a passion and dedication that few other producers have. Excellent quality/price ratio. Roberto, the producer, is a "character" and a lovely person who knows how to convey his passion in what he loves to do... his VinSanto amazed me. A tasting is recommended

This place was the highlight of my trip. Roberto is an experienced wine maker and an amazing host that makes you feel like at home. The wines are amazing and the crostinis made by his wife Maria Grazia are really the best I had in the entire trip. I highly recommend having the tasting with the taglieri and crostinis included. For sure this will be a place that I will keep going back every time I’m in Tuscany.

We had one of the best tastings of our lives. Mr. Roberto and the owner proved to be extremely friendly and helpful, telling us the whole story of his cellar and his wines. High quality oil and typical products that perfectly match the wines offered. We will definitely come back if we land in these parts again.

We dropped in while Roberto was finishing his supper, and he was the most gracious - he would not turn us away! His wine and conversation were as enjoyable as the grounds. We've since ordered wine to be shipped to the U.S. and are enjoying a bottle as I type this! 10/10
