Vignobles Mayard and their Ecological Cultivation Methods
The vineyard produces wines using sustainable agriculture. Moreover, the winemakers at the winery respect the environment and focus on the terroir. Correspondingly, they follow traditional cultivation methods, which are purely ecological. They don’t use weed killers or chemical fertilizers. Instead of chemicals, they prefer mechanical tillage and manual care of the vegetation. They follow green working ethics for pruning, de-budding, and harvesting as well as carefully select grapes in the vineyard before processing in the cellar. Popular wines include Pink Confidence, Domaine du Père Pape, Crau of my Red Mother, Crau of my Mother White, etc. For white wines, they use grapes like White Grenache, Clairette, The Bourboulenc, Roussanne, and picpoul. For the red variety, they use Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Cinsault.
