At Csetvei Cellar, a small yet passionate winery, visitors can learn about the art of crafting organic wines. This intimate setting offers a memorable tasting experience featuring a selection of red, white, and sparkling wines produced on-site. One highlight is the Ezerjó 19’, a unique wine fermented in ceramic Amorphae, an ancient method reminiscent of Greek and Roman traditions. This elegant wine pairs beautifully with seafood and charcuterie, making it a delightful choice for any meal.
The volcanic vineyards of Somló are home to two remarkable Hungarian grape varieties. The first is Juhfark, a native grape known for its dry, mineral, and vibrant profile. The second is Olaszrizling, or Welschriesling, which showcases a bold character influenced by the region's volcanic soil. The addition of Hungarian oak further enhances the wine's complexity, offering a truly unique tasting experience.
This engaging tour lasts between two and three hours, allowing guests to sample 6 to 10 wines for just 30 Euros per person. Participants will have access to the vineyards, winery, cellar, and tasting room. Csetvei Cellar can accommodate groups of 4 to 50 people, making it a perfect outing for friends, family, or corporate events.
