Taneto - Badia Di Morrona

Tuscan terroir is suitable for many different grape varieties, but several give particularly expressive results in certain microzones. This is the case with Syrah in our microclimate which, together with Merlot and the typically territorial personality of Sangiovese, gives an original and complex wine.

Tasting Notes

Intense in color with delicate aromas of cinnamon, chocolate, and black pepper, soave and supple on the palate with a velvety texture, the finish and aftertaste of the wine are pleasurably long and full.

Food Pairings

Ideal with pasta and rice dishes and with grilled meat.

To Drink

Already pleasurable after three or four years, it reaches its peak after a decade.

Technical Notes

Grapes: Syrah, Sangiovese, Merlot.
Aging: 12 months in 225 liter (60 gallon) French oak barrels and ten months in bottle before release.
