Winery of the Week: Aquila’s Nest Vineyards

Sip Among the Stars in Connecticut

Set on a picturesque estate in Sandy Hook – Newtown, Connecticut, Aquila’s Nest Vineyards is more than a winery – it’s a storytelling destination where wine, mythology, and community intersect. Founded in October 2020 by a husband-and-wife team who left behind their corporate lives to build a dream from the ground up, Aquila’s Nest offers a space where every glass invites reflection, empowerment, and connection.

A Vision Rooted in Myth and Stars:The name Aquila, Latin for eagle, pays tribute to the constellation and a personal mythological story deeply tied to the couple’s roots. Each detail of the vineyard is infused with meaning, creating a space where every glass invites reflection and connection.

Taste the Experience

Each wine label features a constellation, a mythological woman’s name, and a Latin phrase, with stories shared on every bottle. Their nine seasonal wines, grown on 12 acres of sunlit vines, celebrate history, symbolism, and feminine strength.
