L'histoire

A la fin du 19ème siècle, au cœur de la Bourgogne à Savigny lès Beaune, un vigneron passionné et idéaliste, Léonce Bocquet (qui était à la même époque propriétaire du célèbre Château du Clos de Vougeot et d'une partie de ses vignes) fit construire ces bâtiments destinés à la vinification et à l'élevage des vins de ses différents domaines. Pour cela, il fit appel à Charles SUISSE, grand architecte de l'époque et professeur à l'école des beaux-arts, qui réalisa une construction originale et massive. Ces bâtiments aux couleurs inhabituelles pour la région, furent reconnus par tous comme le monument le plus beau et le plus majestueux du monde viticole de Bourgogne. L'édifice fut achevé en 8 ans mais laissa indéniablement son empreinte unique sur le visage de la Côte de Beaune.

I can only warmly recommend this winery, where we visited the wine sale. The reception was excellent from start to finish, the price was reasonable and the quality was very high. We would be happy to come back!!! THANK YOU

We have been coming regularly since we discovered the place a year ago. Great! The teams are highly professional and have a good knowledge of the products and history. Passionate people! Group visits are definitely worth it, we were in Beaune on the weekend of the wine sale and a very nice little tour was organized. I really recommend this place

Our wine tasting and tour at Henri de Villamont in Beaune was an absolute delight. Very elegant property, beautiful visit to the cellars and vineyards led by a wonderfully competent and friendly staff member. Above average wine production, correct prices, I recommend the full tasting of the three red and three white wines
