Excellent climate and high-quality soil structure surround this colorful and beautiful land surrounding the winery. Persistent sunshine, occasional sea breezes and the hot Mediterranean climate of the area is an almost perfect environment for viticulture.

A Dream for Primitivo and Negroamaro Wines Drinkers

Carlo, Gianvito and Franco, grandchildren of indefatigable winemaker obtained their ancestral property Negroamaro vineyards and named it Feudi di Guagnano in 2002. The name received inspiration from the word “fieu” that means a rural district in Salento dialect. The love of grandchildren for their home region encouraged them to save the abandoned vineyards at Feudi di Guagnano to once again cultivate Primitivo and Negroamaro. The wines of Feudi di Guagnano Winery are obtained from Negroamaro, Primitivo, Verdeca, Andmalvasianeradi Lecce vines. A unique selection is made from Chardonnay vines aged for six months in French oak barrels. The cultivation, manual harvest, and vinification processes are done with extreme care to offer you the best wines from the cellar. The cellar produces delicious red, white, and rose wines in addition to the sparkling wine under Salento IGT status.

The Winery Provides Two Production Facilities

The widespread cellar has two production units in the municipalities of CampiSalentina and Guagnano at a distance of 5 kilometers. Both the sites are interconnected with uninterrupted vineyards. The historical site Guagnano has a large tasting room surrounded by rows of barriques, shipping warehouse, and offices. Winemaking, bottling, and ancient bottaia all are at CampiSalentina.
