A Picturesque Tuscan Retreat for Wine Enthusiasts
The Estates
Le Palaie Winery is nestled in Peccioli, within the scenic upper Era Valley, a region recently gaining recognition among winemakers. The estate spans 150 hectares, featuring 15 hectares of vineyards and 1,000 olive trees. Visitors can enjoy a range of accommodations, including seven charming apartments in a beautifully renovated 17th-century farmhouse and three independent houses, all equipped with modern comforts.
The Winery's Origins
Founded in 1996 by Nino Angelo Caponi, Le Palaie began as a vision for a peaceful retreat where family could gather and create lasting memories. The winery's cellar opened in 2013, showcasing Dr. Caponi's innovative ideas and dedication to winemaking. The facility includes a state-of-the-art vat cellar and an underground barrique cellar for aging wines, adorned with sculptures that transform the space into an art gallery.
Surrounded by the stunning Tuscan hills, the winery offers a breathtaking view that stretches from the hills of Terre di Pisa to the Theater of Silence. This picturesque setting enhances the experience for wine lovers and travelers alike, making Le Palaie a must-visit destination in Tuscany.
