Experience Crutin Nicolai, a cherished family legacy from the late 19th century.
Nota Giuliano Winery, Nestled in the Heart of Piedmont
Located in the picturesque Monticello d’Alba, Nota Giuliano Winery offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and is just a short drive from the famous truffle area of Alba del Roero. The winery boasts several vineyards in the Monticello region, with a special focus on a vineyard in La Morra dedicated to producing exceptional Barolo grapes.
A Rich Family Heritage
Founded in 1960 by Antonio Nota, the winery has remained a family-run business, now led by his grandson. Antonio's son, Giuliano, and his wife, Aidid, expanded the winery by incorporating modern winemaking techniques. Oenologists Fabrizio and Massimo oversee the production of a diverse range of wines, including red, white, sparkling, and dessert varieties. Giuliano’s daughter, Serena, has also joined the family business, contributing to its commercial success.
The Winery Surrounded by Nature
Nota Giuliano Winery is enveloped by lush chestnut and pine groves, where a variety of grapes flourish. The vineyards produce renowned varieties such as Dolcetto, Barbera, and Nebbiolo, alongside high-quality Arneis, Favorita, and Moscato. For over 50 years, the Nota family has continuously improved the Casa Comerci Winery. The Crutin Nicolai cellar, a historical underground space, has been renovated while preserving its original charm. Located 12 meters deep in tuff, the cellar features five spacious rooms equipped with modern stainless steel tanks for optimal fermentation.
