At Quinta dos Novais, many of the ingredients used in our lunch are grown or produced directly on the estate, ensuring unmatched freshness, sustainability, and authenticity. From the olive oil that drizzles over your starters to the apples slow-roasted for a comforting side dish, every element tells a story of the land. You'll also find quince grown for our traditional "marmelada", aromatic herbs like rosemary and lavender, spicy malagueta peppers, and rich, local olives.
Our table wines are crafted from grapes harvested on the same land you’ll walk through, and we even use estate-grown plums and walnuts for our desserts, including a vegan option. For those curious, we also grow "medronho" berries and many other seasonal delights right here on the property.
