Aging Process in the Cellars

The underground cellars at Ronco Calino are equipped with modern technology, including chillers, pressers, small tanks, and wooden barrels, all designed to support the winemaker's craft. After bottling in spring, the Franciacorta wines undergo an extended aging process, resting on the lees for one additional year beyond the requirements of the strict Production Code. Excellent experience in this small winery in Franciacorta. Place surrounded by total tranquility and a very well-kept environment. We followed a tasting led by Serena who described the different production phases from harvest to bottling. We were completely satisfied. Their wines are excellent and of great quality.

Visiting this winery was a great experience!! We attended a tasting for a hen party and were really impressed. We found people who were very helpful and passionate about their work, who told us about the different stages of production in a really clear and engaging way. Architecturally well-kept spaces and last but not least, really excellent organic wines! If I had to sum up the experience in three words, I would use "kindness", "passion" and "quality".

One of the most beautiful experiences in Franciacorta, a true oasis of peace. Beautiful property, very clean and charming, as is the cellar. Among the best wines that you can taste at any time. Cellar in the middle of a vineyard oasis. To be amazed! Stratospheric position, every detail is cared for and refined. Anna, Serena and Angelica, trusted collaborators of the (enlightened) owners, are competent hosts, very attentive and with a lot of savoir faire. Girls with class and style like the company they represent at its best. Well done, well done and still good! The wines are a very successful mix of balance, elegance and authenticity, especially the brut, both non-vintage (which has few competitors in Franciacorta) and vintage (now 2016). A company that breaks the mental patterns associated with Franciacorta outside the region and transports you to an authentic and irresistible dimension of this territory. Chapeau.
