Join us at our family winery in the heart of Kakheti for an intimate tasting of three wines, each crafted by hand and matured underground in traditional clay Qvevris. Over the course of your visit, you'll discover how centuries-old Georgian methods shape wines of remarkable depth and character, while hearing the story of our grandfather Juso and the vineyards he planted nearly 60 years ago.
You will enjoy a tasting of natural Qvevri wines from Georgia's indigenous grape varieties, which will be guided by the wine-maker and owner of the Winery.
Wines:
Kisi - An elegant amber wine with delicate floral and stone-fruit aromas, balancing freshness with the warm texture of extended skin contact.
Mtsvane - Bright and aromatic, with a lively character that reflects the unique microclimate of our Shilda vineyards.
Saperavi - Georgia's celebrated red, grown in our Shilda vineyard. Deep and full-bodied, with rich dark-fruit flavors and a long, expressive finish.
Lunch/Dinner: Your lunch will include traditional Kakhetian barbeque and salad, and various traditional specialties.
Each wine is produced with minimal intervention and without filtration, clarifying naturally during its long maturation in Qvevri.
