Avondale Wine Estate is nestled on the picturesque slopes of the Klein Drakenstein Mountains, near Paarl in the Western Cape of South Africa. Avondale is dedicated to producing premium organic wines while maintaining a balanced vineyard environment. The vineyard is organized into one-hectare blocks, with grape varieties matched to specific soil types. This focus on quality over quantity results in each block yielding between four and eight tonnes of exceptional grapes. Avondale's wines are certified organic and enjoyed by wine lovers around the world, crafted in a state-of-the-art 500-ton capacity cellar built into the riverbed.

The winery features a gravity flow system that minimizes mechanical intervention during the winemaking process.
